Delightful estate, run by a couple dedicated to their guests. Ideal location to relax.Nearby activities: Gorgeous beaches nearby at Westward Ho!, Woolacombe and Croyd plus fabulous gardens at RHS Rosemoor, all c 15 to 20 mins drive away.Food & drinks: Guests able to use produce from the stunning vegetable gardens in their self-catering apartments. Stunning accommodation in the heart of the beautiful North Devon countryside. There is a small collection of rental properties ranging from 2 bedrooms to 8 bedrooms, each is beautifully presented and situated in the grounds of the estate. You can bring your dog by prior arrangement. Our accommodation was a 2 bedroom apartment featuring 2 bathrooms a longe dining room, baby grand piano and a fantastically well equipped kitchen. The accommodation is spacious and beautifully decorated and is sympathetic to its heritage. There are 2 amazing kitchen gardens and guests are allowed to help themselves to produce. There is a full sized tennis court that is also free for guests to use.The accommodation is ideally situated for exploring the coastal paths and beaches of North Devon. We felt it offered fantastic value for money and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly accommodation in the countryside.Rooms: Bedrooms are spacious and decorated in keeping with the properties heritage.Nearby activities: The property has a tennis court that is free to use , you need to bring your own racquet. There is a great pub about 5 minutes away serving delicious food.Food & drinks: There is a farm shop 2 minutes from the property which sells fresh eggs and organic milk.

What an amazing rural retreat! Set in the expansive and stunningly beautiful North Devon countryside, the estate provides a fantastic escape and retreat from which to explore the nearby towns and coastline. The accommodation was superb, beautifully styled, and incredibly well equipped. We stayed in Cuttcliffe Chambers which was an upstairs apartment consisting of 2 double bedrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms a beautiful lounge complete with baby grand piano and a small but well equipped kitchen. From the wooden floors to the triple aspect views the whole place was incredible. The setting is stunning, the apartment overlooked one of the walled kitchen gardens which was brimming with an abundance of vegetables, the owners are happy for you to help yourself! The setting is breathtakingly beautiful with views towards Lundy and the Devon countryside. There is full sized tennis court which we took full advantage of but you will need to bring your own tennis equipment. The beaches nearby are lovely, we brought our dog with us and lots of the beaches are dog friendly. Staunton Sands was our favourite, about a 25 minute drive and is a perfect surfing and body boarding spot benefiting from the Atlantic waves. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, we booked directly through the website and saved money. There was a lovely welcome pack on our arrival consisting of organic milk, wine, biscuits and homemade scones which was a superb. They were incredibly helpful and informative. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend all of the properties on the estate, especially if you are seeking tranquility, space and stunning accommodation.

We have just returned from a fabulous stay in Grooms cottage. A family of 4 and a dog. Webbary Manor Estate is peaceful, calm and beautiful. Our cottage was sympathetically furnished to reflect the period of the property retaining it's charm. We were very comfortable with access to all we needed for a home from home experience. The hosts are charming and offer a warm welcome. They were visible throughout our stay, working tirelessly to maintain their environment. Access to well loved walled vegetable gardens and the offer of helping yourself to fresh produce in abundance was a real treat. This is an authentic and magical place to retreat and relax.

Spent a lovely week here commencing Sat 9th April this being my fourth stay at Webbery so that speaks volumes. The cottages are delightful as are the owners (Katy and Kevin)who couldn?t do enough for us not to mention our own vegetable supermarket!!! (Walled gardens stocked with an abundance of seasonal veg). This is the perfect holiday retreat and comes highly recommended.

Having travelled 400 miles and arrived in a beautiful place we were feeling excited. This did not last the cottage is very old .Old sofas worn out and dreadful to sit on. No heating no wood for the log fire.No water pressure no hot water. The shower is electric poor water pressure just a trickle . No were to put food in the kitchen as all the cupboards are taken up. The floors in the house are wood and dirty as spilled water went to clean and dirty .. Not a great feeling at all. Also the double bed has a bed head and bed bottom so it was short and we could not put our feet anywhere we are quite tall but still this needs looking at.. Over all the creature comforts are just not there so the day after we decided to leave and drive yet hundreds of miles again to return home ...Absolutely shocking is how we feel . With the Covid years we have had this was a well needed brake.. They are charging top priced and delivering very poor service indeed . 800 Miles round trip isn't good when all we wanted was to relax...

Excellent self catering holiday cottages set in idyllic Devon countryside close to coastline. High spec cottages with extensive grounds, tennis court, walled gardens and patios. High standard of cleanliness and presentation. 15 minutes from Westward Ho! beach. Tesco store 10 minutes away. Friendly and helpful owners on site. Ideal base for exploring North Devon and area.

We had an amazing time at the Groom's Cottage. Everything was so clean and we had local organic milk and handmade scones on our arrival. The place was so peaceful we could even hear an owl during the night. We also spotted a rabbit, squirrels, pheasants, and what our little bird-watchers said was a partridge. Our children loved the beautiful and large gardens at Webbery, especially the enclosed vegetable gardens. We were happily surprised to see the variety and quality of vegetables we could pick up for FREE! The children collected 8 different varieties of tomatoes from the greenhouses and decided to do a "tomato tasting session". They also dug potatoes, picked up plums, raspberries, green beans, broad beans, onions, and much more. That was a great learning experience for them and the highlight of our holidays in Devon! When was time to go home, our son didn't want to leave the place! We highly recommend Webbery Estate. Thank you Mr and Mrs De-Haan!!
