I took a pair of my varifocal glasses into the Bideford Branch to ask if they could repair them, as one of the lenses had come out, due to a missing screw on one of the arms.
The young lady that served me was most helpful and said that they could be
repaired.
However, the screw that was needed to repair them was slightly different in design to the normal Vision Express type, so she asked a male colleague if he could assist her with the repair.
She said that it would take about 10 minutes, if I would like to call back.
When I returned they had repaired them;
I asked how much the repair cost and the young lady said, there was no charge.
I was massively impressed and thanked her for her kind and efficient service.
It is really nice to experience this type of service and although I don't know what her or her colleagues names are - I felt that I should thank them again, officially on the Vision Express website.
A big 'thank you' once again - you made my day!

Very happy with the appt with the optician but would just mention that during the other interactions with staff undertaking the various tests, the often interruptions from other staff were quite annoying, probably not helped by the area for these tests being ?open? to other staff and also to other visiting ?patients? rather than behind a closed door. No doubt this is for staff ?safety? but certainly interruptions by other staff should surely not be necessary?

I have experience a high level of skilled and professional advice in my two visits to Bideford vision express. Staff were uniformly polite and friendly, offering individual tailored advice and suggestions, with no pressure applied to make purchases. The eye test and scans were explained to me well and my questions answered. I would recommend this service to family and friends.
