We went for an Archery session and disc golf. For the summer holidays the place was eerily quite and everything was just underwhelming. It seems to be more of a place where they do school trips, residentials or work team building but maybe they should change their format during the summer hols to better accommodate smaller parties and make the place more engaging.

We didn't stay here but purchased an Adventure Day Pass. This is incredibly good value for money 5 activities for under £25! The staff were brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. We had the most fantastic day and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

I took my two granddaughters here for the full day of activities and it was fantastic. They did high and low ropes, climbing, archery, mountain boarding and the assault course. We were there from 09.30-17.45. The instructors were brilliant. The girls loved it. Fantastic day and value. I'm taking my grandsons next.

Can't tell you how the rooms are but I can tell you this is a five star experience. Amazing array of activities with fantastic instructors who really care about what they do and the customer experience. Harriet and Nadia were top notch in making all their guests feel welcome and make the most of their experience. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

We had a fantastic day at Ultimate Adventure. Really good value for money, we spent the whole day there and did high ropes, climbing, archery, mountain boarding and finished with the assault course.
All equipment was provided (except for wet shoes, which we brought anyway). We also ordered the lunch package which was great value, hot filled baguettes, crisps and a drink.
The instructors were superb, friendly and helpful and very engaging. Would definitely recommend and will be going back next time we're in Devon. A great day out!

All looks good, room service - you should be able to clean and tidy up everything by yourself with your own equipment and liners, perfect attractions for kids if you paying for it, not cheap, so for me it was good place to stop for a week with kids, mainly to sleep, rest of the day been driving and visiting different places all around the coast, ten or this place not a big difference, had a bit bigger expectations from this place, at least some free playground for kids, not just paid ones.

Really quiet when I visited but the site is nicely laid out with all the amenities you'd ever want. I can imagine in holiday season the atmosphere would be brilliant.

Stayed here at a festival and would recommend the staff - very friendly and professional, and the food on site which was excellent - tasty, healthy and generous portions. Dorm was also very nice- modern and clean.

i went to north devon for a school residential. it was a fun experience exept the showers were freezing cold and some didn't work and the wifi was horrible in the Lodge we stayed in, but other than that the high ropes was the funniest part of the whole residential.

Went coasteering today - amazing experience from beginning to end for all ages 9-41!! Ashley went above and beyond as my son's shoe kept falling off and he ripped his own lace in half to ensure my son had good fun by giving him his.

Very far away from everything the beds are rock solid the food is mining and there are stains and marks everywhere including in the damp dorms .

They hosted a locals Day so local people could come for a discounted price, how nice!Wasn't quite sure what to expect.Easy to find opposite big sheep. Lots of staff to greet us, get the car parked and get to the meeting area. Currently it is for able people, but you could get down paths with a pushchair or wheelchair for spectating. For the ultimate wipeout wear a swimming costume and old shoes that will get soaked. They provide a wetsuit, helmet and buoyancy aid. So as long as you can kick your legs or use your arms you generally just float in the water. No lockers but can leave bags of clothes in the changing areas-boys girls men woman. They do a safety tour first. And then you go around as many times within your slot, generally about an hour.A lot of time on your knees, wetsuit has padding. I wasn't cold at all. Very slippery. Staff all there to give your tips and inspire you along to have fun! They had some music on today in the background.Take your phone for photos and videos. Sometimes they have a professional photographer.Take some packed lunch. Or they have a tiny shop. We had a pasty and drink. We then did the high ropes course. So you want dry clothes and dry shoes preferably although ny sheos were soaked and make it fine.Wear some comfortable clothes and they give you a harness and helmet. They do all the checks to ensure the kit is applied properly. There is a low course and a high course to choose. You get hooked on one at a time and then follow each other around. For adults great although still scary, for children those who have confidence and are adventurous in my opinion.I made it around but it was hard. Take your time. The staff are all encouraging.I am glad I did this and will be booking again for a fun day out ?Spectators also welcome.
