When we arrived and went into the main part of the hotel there was a very bad smell (to me it smelled like sick) This continued on the second floor and even into our room. It was very unpleasant and I had to resort to spraying body spray around the room to try to improve it. It spoilt our stay and we will not return to this Premier Inn.Noteworthy details: There was a bad smell and the air conditioning was noisy. Will not return.

Free parking.Good location if you're touring around North Devon.The room was of a good size.I had an email after booking/before the visit to advise that the Brewers Fayre next door was closed for refurbishment so no food would be available, but we were happily surprised when we got there to hear it reopened that morning.We had to wait a fair while for someone to come to reception when we arrived, despite calling for attention.The room was very damp and smelt a bit because of that. Mould could be seen on the ceiling. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have breathing issues.Windows couldn't open even a crack, and had a lot of condensation on them in the morning.Not too bad a place for the low price and to stay for only 1 night.

Christmas stay. ? stayed 4 nights over Christmas1. The room wasn't serviced once in that time dispite at least 1 day seeing room cleaners actively cleaning rooms.2. Reception maybe "open" 24/7 but the receptionists like to hide in the back office.3. Double room 1 Big towel!!4. WiFi is so slow it is virtually non existent unless you wish to pay for a pass for the ultimate one.It is the most unchrissy hotel and it is functional for most people using it to stay to see family. It used to be cheaper to stay but as it creeps closer to the cost of the competition the more I debate moving on to them. I you want to lay your head somewhere and you get a good price your fine if you looking at paying 60 or over pay a little extra for another hotel.

Lovely placed, convenient stop of before a final destination. Lots of amenities in the surrounding area.Rooms: Room's are fab, very comfortable and welcoming.Food & drinks: Lovely food and drink available in the Chef and Brewer opposite.

Location wasn't too bad and the rooms were decent but internet was so bad also in the middle of the night the air vents started making loud noises waking me up several times I made videos of this and sent it to premier inn over insta conversation regarding good night guarantee was told because issue wasn't raised at the time when on there website it clearly states u have 7 days even if u haven't raised the issue at the hotel which for me wasn't possible as I had a wedding to attend and they have a self checkout service and no one was behind the desk!

Air con didn?t work. Notified reception. No change. Was set to 19. Lowest it ever was in the room was 26, at 7am, with 28 degrees in the evening. Windows did not open. No fan in room. No sleep for me or my family. Reception staff in the morning were non existent despite a sign stating 24/7. Eventually given a customer service number to call. Called. Left message. Assured callback within 24 hours. Nothing for days. Called back again using a number different to what was provided. Finally sorted.In summary, nice hotel in nice location but with rooms that hot and no openable windows nor fan, impossible to sleep there. Other folks at breakfast said their air con was unbearably cold. Not what we wanted to hear!

Room smells like wet socksInternet speed is slightly under what I managed to get on dial up 26 years ago, only somehow worse.Mobile phone signal doesn't exist.Near a pub, McDonald's and Costa and AldiStaff seem nice but I wouldn't be staying here if it wasn't for work booking it.
