The staff are always friendly and helpful and there is a home delivery service so you can get your papers and magazines delivered to your door for a small fee.”

Johns of Appledore is a real gem — everything about this place is top quality.
The range of fresh produce, local treats, cheeses, and baked goods is amazing. You can tell everything is carefully selected, and the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
We popped in for some lunch and were blown away by the fresh sandwiches, homemade cakes, and excellent coffee.
There’s a lovely little seating area if you want to eat in, and the whole place has a welcoming, relaxed vibe.
If you’re in Appledore, this is a must-visit. Whether you’re picking up picnic bits, browsing local goodies, or just stopping for a bite to eat, Johns delivers every time. Highly recommend!”

Yes,they do ask if you have looked at this or that because its cheaper with them but thats only because they like to point out that your paying too much with whoever your with. They dont try to sell things that your not in there for.”

“Hartland has a fab post office & shop. Nicki & her team work tirelessly to serve the community, open until 9pm 6 days a week (both the shop & post office). Where else can you go to the Post Office at 9pm at night where you can draw cash out!Look out for Nicki's homemade Coleslaw which she makes every Saturday (& goes quickly!) & homemade potato salad (Summer only) - it's great.They sell local meat & veg & all the essentials you need, you really don't need Tescos.”
