We went to Braddicks Carpets on clovelly road industrial estate and picked out a carpet, we paid £870 deposit (50% of our order). Two days later we were told by telephone that there was a delay in production with the carpet we had chosen. This led to us cancelling our order and asking for our deposit back. Whilst choosing our carpet Christine, the sales assistant at braddicks carpets was very helpful and attentive. But when I went back to get our deposit back (due to there being a delay in production of the carpet we chose) she spoke to me in a very different tone and manor. She asked what carpet I had ordered from a competitor, when I told her she said in an aggressive tone ?we sell that carpet! Why didn?t you come back here?! The pressure she put on me to cancel our new choice of carpet at The Bideford Carpet and Furnishing Centre was immense. When I left the shop I was in tears, her tone and attitude was unbelievable. We always buy our carpet from braddicks, but after how I was treated on Monday I will never set foot in braddicks carpet shop again. As a loyal customer I was so shocked. The reason we asked for our deposit back was because there was a delay with the production of the carpet, it wasn?t like it was our fault. For those that BUY a carpet from braddicks and are assisted by Christine, I?m sure your experience will be a pleasant one. But you better hope that you don?t need to ask for your deposit back or you will see a very different side to Christine! While writing this review I have just had a knock at the door, it was a delivery of flowers from Christine with a card that reads ?please accept my sincere apologies?. A nice gesture, but I?m not changing my mind. Due to Christine, I will never set foot in Braddicks Carpets on Clovelly Road Industrial Estate again!

We bought a lovely riser recliner for my mother in the Stanley House store. Superb customer service from Mandy who was extremely helpful. The delivery team were also excellent.

Fantastic customer service and knowledge from salesman Wayne, incredibly passionate and helpful with all of my consumer needs. Would recommend and go back in for any other needs in the future. Great range of products to fill all tastes and styles.

Dont go,stillpicking up grrit from the road.
Had lino laaid contractors very abusive.cae at 6pm supposed to be between 1 and 4pm terrible job just about to feplace a different company. I dont want light coloured carpets laid in the road.

I try to shop locally when I can for many reasons. If I buy a sofa I can have it right away, not have to wait 6 weeks for it. I can try it out in the store and see the fabric and colour first hand. They have 2 stores loaded with a great variety to suit all tastes. I'm glad I revisited them for my next sofa. Absolutely first class customer service. Consistently. So refreshing in this day and age to deal with a local company who know how to run a retail business. Staff have a friendly and helpful non pushy approach who know their products. They could teach other businesses a heck of a lot. Please Braddicks never rebrand, you don't need to.Braddicks represent old fashioned trustworthy and reliable family service that so many people in Devon love. . I'd recommend this company, 100%.

New to the area we popped into the store looking for matching tv unit, sideboard and nest of tables. Not only did they offer a far better selection than anyone else we had visited but the customer service was excellent from everyone we spoke to, both in store and on the telephone. Great quality furnishings and at such good prices we looked no further. 2 items were in stock and one came a short while later and all items were delivered to us at no extra charge by two courteous and friendly men. We are delighted with our purchases and I am sure we will be visiting the store again in future,

Much bigger than expected with a great range and very friendly staff.\\n\\nCouldnt decide on the day and was allowed to bring home the whole swatch book for the sofa were considering which allowed us to see sizes and check the fabric colours against our walls.
