What a fabulous little cafe in an amazing location! We called in for a spot of lunch on our circular walk and could not have been more impressed. It is dog friendly and has both indoor and outdoor seating on the decking. Toilets were across the boatyard and were clean and serviceable.
There was a good range of hot and cold drinks and a few different lunch options- we went for the BLT which was tasty. Also there is a cabinet with some lovely cakes in. They also had dog sausages on the counter ?
The lady who runs the cafe is lovely and super friendly, happy to chat to you and makes you feel welcome . This place is in such a lovely to spot and you could easily spend a couple of hours here relaxing in the sunshine. We would definitely visit again if in the area :)

Food was absolutely beautiful me and my partner had a bacon and sausage sandwich served on toasted fluffy bread with nice portions of filling, loved sitting outside in the sun in this peaceful location, to top it off was the lovely staff who were happy to help
Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone
Thanks again

Our walking group ended our walk today with a cuppa and cake at The Yard Cafe. An absolutely fantastic way to unwind. Tasty bakes, great drinks and very friendly service. We highly recommend The Yard Cafe. And have I mentioned the Chocolate Brownie?

Having walked from Bere Alston to Weir Quay yesterday needed a nice cold drink. So I had a lovely banana smoothie, hubby had strawberry smoothie then he decided to treat us to x2 cheeky cheesy chips, good portions. Thank you. Will be back :)

Our first visit here for lunch after seeing the cafe's Facebook page. A very friendly welcome and comfortable and clean surroundings. Absolutely delicious piping hot and freshly cooked omelettes - very tasty and went down a treat. Lovely place for a walk too all on the flat with views to take in. Thankyou.

We went here today for a coffee after following them on Facebook. The location is absolutely amazing, right in the middle of a busy boatyard with views out to the river Tamar from the spacious balcony. The coffee was good and a delicious apple cake made for a welcome coffee break. So much to see, my husband, who has owned boats in the past, loved watching all the action. They were lifting boats out of the river for the winter. The boat in Beyond Paradise is stored there as well. Filming takes place on the Cornwall side of the Tamar. Definitely worth a visit.
