Fantastic pub which is closed for a little while whilst new owners take over. Food was always great on the open mic nights when served.

Popped in there late one night as a total stranger. Found a really warm atmosphere, with both staff and regulars cheerful and very friendly. Looking forward to returning to this superb local pub as soon as I am back in the area.

They revived a saturated group of mourners from a burial during monsoon quantities of rain! Hot chocolate, warming scotch, a splendid spread of sandwiches, chicken legs, quiches etc. Owner and staff were warm and caring!Finest Kind ???

Lovely village pub. On side carpeted, one side laminate. Pool table. Regular live music. Open Mic nights. Dog friendly. Staff and locals very kind and lovely. The on tap beer regularly changes, but a usual list continues. Can be a little chilly at times during the winter, but this is during the cost of living issues, so is to be expected. No car park on-site, but on-street parking nearby, or a car park a short walk away. On the high street opposite the pharmacy.

This is now our local and we couldn't find a more friendly, inviting pub to visit. The atmosphere is awesome. The barmaids know their customers and Michelle always makes you laugh. Ann is blooming lovely and always smiling. The owners, Jo, Chris and Gareth run a fun pub which is welcoming, with quiz nights, open mic nights and fabulous meal nights at set times of the month.
Love this pub even though we only came to the village just over five months ago.
