The perfect getaway to write. Debs is an incredibly considerate host and there are so many beautiful touches in her welcoming home. I was lucky enough to attend one of the taught workshops and it was so helpful. There's so much space to write or unwind and if you get the chance to meet the locals do so as they're very friendly and welcoming. The food was varied and tasty and wine o'clock was always a highlight too! Unlike other writing retreats there are no chores to do either. You can be as sociable or unsociable as you like. I was super lucky in that all the other guests were fabulous and a joy to send time with but there's plenty of ways to escape if you'd rather be by yourself. Go on, book a retreat here!

'Healthy eating, yoga and writing retreat' last month - highly recommended. I was so laid-back by the last day that it's taken me a few weeks to write this review! Everyone involved was very friendly, the food was fab and the accomodation extremely comfortable. Thanks Debbie and everyone for a great stay.

Comfortable rooms. Adorable village. Thoughtful and generous host. Time and space to write. Fantastic meals. "Healthy eating week" meals were energizing and generous. Lodging and meals included. Connect with other writers. The only request I have is to extend the stay. We all would have loved to stay longer! I hope to come back every summer.

.My week at this retreat was just perfect in every way.Very comfortable bed with beautiful bed linen. private room with desk, sockets galore and beautiful views over the village.Excellent food, mainly vegetarian. Wine with dinner . All served in a very pleasant dining room, rather vintage.n style. .Enjoyed meals with others on the course, where we had a good chat before returning to our own writing. place. I chose to write in the beautiful, peaceful garden. or summer house.Debbie Flint made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble for her., or for her staff. If you want a truly peaceful place to write then THIS IS IT..Excellent value for money.. I shall return.Jill Odlin

Just returned from a fantastic Photography Retreat at Retreats For You.The expert photographer was friendly, helpful and planned a great day out on Dartmoor - I feel like I've learnt so much in such a short time. The Retreat itself is excellent. The rooms are homely and comfortable (lovely bed). The food healthy and tasty (no cheeseburger and chips here). Don't let the lack of an en-suite (coming soon) be a deal-breaker, the bathroom is big, bright and very clean and a damn sight nicer to use than in many hotels I've stopped in.Debbie was our hostess, and couldn't do enough for us, tea, coffee and wine o'clock :) Her home was our home for the weekend. The resident dogs were lovely and friendly, but if you didn't want to play with them, they'd go away - but they're great foot warmers too.In the end, I was so relaxed I didn't want to go home :)No better recommendation than that. Shame I can't give a few more stars !!

Had a terrific five days at Retreats For You in June. Made real progress with my manuscript, enjoyed working with the excellent Sara Sarre and meeting interesting and inspiring fellow guests. Rooms were comfortable and food excellent. Debbie and Wendy are very welcoming hosts. Looking forward to going again sometime.
