I thinks it's awful with the fact that when ordering you can not pay with cash and everything is done by card !
And when my partner asked to remove egg from the breakfast wrap (he can't eat egg) the lady abruptly said 'no. No Changes or substitutes'
Which meant he couldn't have lots on the menu as it l had mayo!
This cafe used to thrive and when we went in at lunch time there were 3 tables including us.
Tesco are Putting people off by card only and elderly won't always understand the tough screens
Your losing business because your using robots rather than employees.

Made our first visit to the new café at Rose Land Tesco....firstly come on! you don't take cash, why? the café was empty surely you are losing money by the ton. If I had not been there with my Mum who is 89 she would never in a million years order herself a coffee from a screen! I ordered a sausage bap, asked the attendant if butter was used, yes he said....maybe with a magnifying glass you might have spotted it!! very disappointed. We will go back to using the Tesco Extra...great coffee, cash welcome, and plenty of butter!Parking: Parking is good

Fully automated ordering service. Why support a cafe that can't support customer service. Poor quality food and coffee. Really disappointed with visit. Will never recommend or return again. Coffee arrived like warm in a bucket like

Ok went in for breakfast before doing a shop at the store to be greeted by a great looking refurbished cafe, then to see a Mc Donald?s looking order station, you have to order via the machine no cash taken at all the machines take a bit to get used to but I would prefer to see people working rather than a machine.Staff were great and did help people who were finding it hard to use.I would recommend Tescos put a cash/card till in place with a person to take the order and chat to customers who come in.Good food good staff shame about the order machines

The Cafe has been refreshed. To order food and drinks the till has gone. So now the tills are Muccy'D style at the entrance and there are four of them.

Miserable and unwelcoming staff. Both in the store and cafe. Two staff members stood having a chat by the entrance to the self checkout tills, completely oblivious to people trying to navigate around them.Cafe server quite blunt and not at all welcoming.
