“A shopping mall that has a good selection of shops including a Nationwide bank and ideal when the weather outside is not so good. It has a multi story car park with lifts or stairs down to the ground floor shops. There are areas where you can sit and chat and a cafe to enjoy food and drink. The mall has toilets but unfortunately disabled access is via a stepped ramp which may be difficult for some users. The toilets are always clean and well maintained as is the entire mall.The mall has entrances off the high street which makes for a short walk to some of the other town shops while the entire high street shops are no more than 150 metres away.”

“Scope is one of the best charity shops in Barnstaple. It has had a recent refurbishment and now has two floors of goods ranging from clothes and books to cd's and soft toys. The goods are well sorted and you tend to get the higher end of items with no tat, hence the prices are a bit higher but it saves a lot of hunting through rubbish. The store is always clean and tidy.”
