What a dump of a Premier Inn. Smelly and dirty with the windows left open probably to keep the damp down!! Not very clean with mold around the sink unit. Better places for the money in locality!!

Overall positive stay. The room was nice. Because we had small children, the hotel had provided a Cot with plenty of space to make the necessary sleeping arrangements. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
My only recommendation would be to invest in air conditioning because even towards end of September, the room was still very warm.

Cannot fault the staff on reception, but room not great very basic, would have been nice to have had a fridge in room and a hair dryer, air con as room very hot but fan was appreciated, room needed a makeover badly, and smelt bad, it wasn't until we pulled back curtains in the morning to find a previous guest had left an open bottle of milk by window, obviously not spotted by house team, no nice soap or shower gel, just a tatty bottle by bath and sink, didn't look hygienic, overall not like the adverts present and wouldn't use again. Would have mentioned this to receptionist in the morning but they were busy with customers and we had limited time.

Stayed overnight with son and his family . Good size family room . Very clean with good bed facilities . Excellent restaurant with reasonably priced breakfast and free kids breakfast ! Nice friendly staff .

The card reader at the entrance to the room, I had problems with it every day. The carpets in the room are very dirty, the internet is very bad. The waiters in the restaurant have no will, especially Lewis.

Poorly located within an industrial complex, shabby rooms in need of an update, no lift, parking badly affected by current building extension work. Disappointing visit.
Rooms: Shabby.
Nearby activities: Limited.
Walkability: Too far to walk into town.
Food and drinks: Adequate. Partnered Table Table was staffed by poorly trained servers who did a great job of avoiding eye contact with customers. One lady serving behind the bar was, however, excellent with a very positive, professional attitude. Manager was the opposite!

BEWARE!!!! My room and my daughter's room had small hairs round the bath and my daughter's shower had hairs and mould. The beds were clean tho! When I complained at reception they said I was a lier, despite showing them the photos!! DONT GO THERE!!!!

Possibly the most tired one I've ever been to?.... Not helped by the fact that it was like a building site, scaffolding & harras fencing everywhere - if there's that much going on perhaps close it??
Because of the above, guests were in the "annex' this was showing its age & needed a good clean. Really not what you would expect from premier inn to be honest. No warning either when you booked.
Sure it will be fine when the works complete but don't really see why I should pay full price & get this?
I'm a word, disappointing.

Checked in to find a filthy room with thick black hairs around the sink that did not belong to us. Reported to reception who claimed they didn?t have any authority to even apologise and that all rooms are thoroughly checked. As per my photos you can clearly rooms are probably hardly cleaned let alone thoroughly checked.
A heartfelt apology would have sufficed but we were accused of lying. Cleaning team and customer service team probably could do with a refresher course.
Rooms: Outdated, in need of a deep clean.

Family room very hot at night, was provided with extra small fan. Breakfast was good but the dishes and cutleries smelt really bad every time I went to the restaurant as if not washed with soap or wiped with unclean wiper. Asked for room service - only the king bed was remade properly, towels were not replaced, tea cups weren't cleaned, bathtub or basin wasn't cleaned. Tea, coffee etc were not replenished. I've stayed in other premier inns and have had better experiences. Reception staff were helpful though.

Staff were great, room clean but very hot indeed. No AC so had a fan. It was 26 degrees in our room, so uncomfortable at night. We're a family of 4, so it was really warm and had a real impact on our sleep. Staff were great and provided an extra fan, but overall it was like torture having no AC.

Very friendly staff. Only issue we had was that the wifi was unusable, there is a notice in reception stating an ongoing issue with the provider. Wouldn't be an issue but we also couldn't get a good 4G signal either.
