Spent ages searching for somewhere for a roast in this area which had consistent good reviews and a varied menu. We decided to go to Barnstaple for the day and came across this gem. Great food, great service. We enjoyed it and would highly recommend!

Have been to lush many times and always had a great time. I went with a friend last week to try the new menu we were not disappointed i had the Hake my friend had the chicken with goats cheese. We shared a cheese board as well. Have to say it was lovely. Cant wait to try the other new dishes. As always Ollie and the team were lovely and looked after us. Thanks Lush.

Cosy and romantic atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. On the more expensive side of restaurants, but definitely worth the cost when the quality (and quantity) of their food is taken into account. Few vegan options available, making it suitable for everyone.

If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Barnstaple, this is the place to go!! The food is amazing, the staff are excellent and the place itself is lovely! Really good menu with lots of choices for adults and a great kids menu as well. We have eaten here many times and couldnt recommend it highly enough.

Came here for the first time and had a lovely Sunday Roast! The food was full of flavour, and well presented. Service was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back!

The staff were very accomodating and friendly. The food was excellent. The staff messed up one of the requests we made to a meal and were distraught about it when they realised. As soon as they did they immediately whipped the plate away and recooked it from scratch. It came back correct and along with profuse apologies they insisted we were not going to pay for it which we felt was above and beyond what they needed to do, fixing the mistake would have been fine. I hope I get the chance to eat here again!!

The food was lovely on of my best restaurants in Barnstaple however this time l feel like the service was very poor. I couldn?t just eat my mussels as l kept on having flies on my food l told the staff who was dismissive saying it?s just a fly really.
