“Me and my husband went mattress shopping and after going to a few different shops Dreams in Barnstaple was the place. We was welcomed by a lovely man called Mark who helped us find our perfect mattress and didn't go straight in with the top high price ones which was nice.
Mark was a down to earth guy and really made the whole shopping experience a great one.
There was also a lady there too but unfortunately I can not remember her name ,but she also helped and really knew her stuff about mattresses.
If I could I would give them 10 stars !
They really did go that extra mile to make our experience perfect.

“Very pleased with our experience with Bensons for Beds in Barnstaple store. Very helpful lady/manager helping us to choose and order a Sealy divan bed. We had plenty of emails confirming order and delivery. Delivery was prompt and in the time we expected by very friendly and helpful drivers. Would definitely use and order from them again. A good experience. Pleased with the product on arrival.”

“The sound of the rain, the warmth from the indoor fire. The bathtub running warm water in the cold was the perfect way to spend our Christmas ?Thanks for the experience and the well interior designed tipi. The hosts were lovely and Aaron made the most amazing curry. We enjoyed every single bite with the extra chili nomnomnommm. We were so relaxed during the stay and wound recommend harta to anyone! Shame that we couldn't light the outdoor fire but cooking underneath their little kitchen hut was great! We brought a big wok to do some serious cooking and prepared our own camping light for the early dark winter. Not to mentioned miranda had made the digital guide nicely and gave us plenty of info before we arrive. Thanks for the lovely Christmas and blessings to your whole family x”

“Lived in south molton for 11 years and last night was the first visit to the stags head inn, I really wish I had discovered it years ago, the pub outside is absolutely lovely and inside is really cosy. The staff was so nice and friendly and good food was delicious. I have travelled a lot and love quality food, and my fish stew did not disappoint it was flavoursome and very tasty. Highly recommend and can’t wait until our next visit.”

“I can not thank Rich & the team at Barrow Clark Furnishers for all their help getting my hands on limited edition edge sculptures! Rich goes above and beyond every single time to do his best to secure me limited editions. Rich is very customer focused also even emailing me to see how I am & to have a catch up which makes the service so much more personal, you are not just someone putting money in their pockets you are someone who is now part of an extending family of customers. I do not live anywhere near Barrow Clark I live over 100 miles away but that does not stop Rich from ensuring I still get the chance to own one of the beautiful edge sculptures even if it’s only down to one of edges very limited signs! I honestly can’t put into words just how thankful I am to have come across Rich and his team or I will be here for hours praising them to which they deserve! Keep it up Rich & team (which I know you will) because that’s why we all return to you and recommend you also & a massive heartfelt thanks!!”

“We stayed here last Sunday the 14th September 2025 on our way to Cornwall. The receptionist Jenny was so lovely and friendly very welcoming. We stayed with our two dogs and our room was immaculate.
Unfortunately we left our pets medication in the room. We rang the travelodge and spoke to Jenny. This very kind lady sent on this medication to our holiday destination she went above and beyond her duties. Thank you so much Jenny

“We had a lovely meal for 6 at lunch just before our annual walk from The Hunters Inn to Heddon’s Mouth.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was lovely.”

“? Country wide store, and one of the best places to go to replace household items and haberdashery... or if you're just starting out...a brilliant place to go ?”

“Overall positive stay. The room was nice. Because we had small children, the hotel had provided a Cot with plenty of space to make the necessary sleeping arrangements. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

My only recommendation would be to invest in air conditioning because even towards end of September, the room was still very warm.”
