Disappointed to say the least.Not local to the area, came down for the weekend. Been to a couple of bars (Lush Bar) I would advise anyone to go too and stay clear of this place.Management really let this place down. They had lost my Jacket in the cloakroom and some how this was my fault. Made me wait outside for 30 minutes, but refused me to actually help look for it, considering it was there mess up.There was no apology which made this situation worse, you pay £1.50 to put your coat in and they never even offered a refund for the inconvenience of how poorly the staff are trained. It's the principle of what happened whether it was 50p or £10.The lady was called Vicki and she was so rude, so if you are visiting this place, I'd advise to stay clear of this lady, she'll put you in a right mood.Unfortunately, it's this sort of management that let's the whole team down.Bar staff was friendly and quick on making the drinks. Security was very good as well. So I'm not going to leave these a bad review.Just a point to improve, maybe send your management team on a refresher course on how to talk politely to customers who pay there wage.

Had a great time at Fever, definitely the best night out in Barnstaple! The music was great and the atmosphere was even better! The staff were all really friendly and helpful and the service was very efficient especially considering how busy it was!

Real shame they wouldn't open the retro room until later. We got in there and had to sit around waiting, ruined our vibe. We hated the awful music in the first room and as soon as the retro room opened most of the Club moved across. Makes no sense when some people would only go for that room. Staff were also quite rude when asking when it would be open. Should have gone elsewhere as not the best way to finish the night after having so much more fun elsewhere.

Upon visiting "Barnstaples No.1 Nightclub," I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend it. I would even go so far as to say that it's not even worth one star. The club is the only one in Barnstaple, but it's not worth going out of your way to visit. If you're in the area, I suggest hopping on a train and going to Exeter.This "pit of despair" is not worth the cost of admission.That being said, if you're in the mood for a physical altercation with other club-goers or the staff, then this might be the spot for you. It's quite surprising that a place like this is still operating in Barnstaple. It's a shame, as the club has a lot of potential. However, it's clear that things are not up to par.If you're considering visiting this club, I would suggest saving your time and money. Instead, opt for the nicer bars around town or take my advice and head to Exeter for a better clubbing experience.

All staff are really friendly. You can get in a casual conversation with the door staff for half an hour. Music overall is good. environment and the type of people that come in are great. Started going for nights out only recently but every one has been a great time. Drinks are cheap also.

As we were celebrating a friend?s birthday we decided to get a booth and the experience was absolutely fantastic from the range of drinks and packages available. Had a great night at Fever in Barnstaple. Booked a VIP Party booth on a Thursday Evening for just £40!! With a great range of spirits on offer for a great low price for those on a budget. Sam was a great help booking through Facebook and Kelly was a great host on the night. The music was great and the bar staff were friendly. I will definitely be going there again.
