If you require a repeat prescription go elsewhere because it is never ready on time. There is always an endless queue to get served and when you get there the chances of the prescription being ready is very slim, if it is you can bet it hasn't been signed off !!!

This is quite a large boots it is well laid out with all the cosmetics etc together. There is a fragrance counter where you can sample the perfume and buy it. I always find that the staff at this section are always really friendly and a few times they given me advice on perfumes to buy. At the back of the shop they have a small selection of toys and clothes and it's where all the products such as nappies etc are. Also at the back of the shop it has a photos checkout which you can get your photos developed this is one of the cheapest places to get them done. You can also buy medicine in this boots there is acounter for this and people to help you and give advice. You can often get good deals in here espcially over christmas as they do a lot of 3 for 2 deals and sell a lot of great gifts

This branch of Boots is the main one in the High Street of Barnstaple. It had the usual Boots ranges, the perfume counter, sandwiches and drinks, pharmacy counters and a photographic centre that does developing at a reasonable price. It's a good branch with helpful staff and a great choice of products including the 3 for 2 offers on gifts at the moment
