Best food in town.
we went in Saturday evening and even though there had been a massive storm with damage to building and no deliveries etc. They produced the most amazing food absolutely outstanding. so many beautiful flavours and come out presentsd to such a hig standard. The service is just amazing such a warm welcome with smiles on everyone. so attentive and couldn't want for anymore. well done to everyone at claytons for creating such a beautiful place with great atmosphere best night out I've had in a long time

Staff need proper training in correct table etiquette when serving a meal and drinks. The music was very loud and we could not talk comfortably with others at our table.

We came to the Hoe Down Bottomless Brunch, I have to say the food was fantastic, the drinks were amazing and the service was exceptional (shout out to Lewis our waiter). The only complaint would be that the music wasn?t all country, I?m sure Abba and Elton John are not country. I know you are catering to the masses but I would expect country music at a Hoe Down. Having said that it would not put me off going to another one, great value for money

Amazing vibe, amazing cosy modern restaurant, great music, fantastic outside space! Oh...and the food is incredible!!! We had a couple delicious salads. Will be back!!

We had a lovely experience at Claytons.
The Terrace was open for drinks and im assuming that it gets hot in the Glasshouse so they did leave the doors open which gave you a mixture of two musics and a few drunk dancers which wasn't too bad but a bit off putting in the beginning when you're stone sober.
Service was lovely. Everybody was working really hard and well together. It was a fast-paced, fun yet relaxed atmosphere and we did enjoy the slightly Ibiza-esque feel which made you feel like you were on holiday.
The food was good. I had a fantastic lamb dish which had a great array of colour, texture and flavour. Beautifully presented and my partner felt the same about the lamb loin. My starter, the confit of duck was underwhelming. Flavour combinations were off and didn't quite appetise me based off of presentation. My partner loved the mushroom soup.
The cocktails were well priced between 10-12 pounds. Mixed well and loved the table service drinks in Terrace which really felt like you could relax and let go.
Overall, very enjoyable and a great evening for us both.

A very special and appealing interior, this is what comes to your eye first. The first floor is pretty dark, the second floor with the glass roof is the opposite. Very nice decoration. The men's bathroom also has a surprise. The food was very good. The curry was tasty and a little bit hot, some may say too hot. The omelet was rich and well seasoned. The waitress was very friendly and fast. Unfortunately we had our dog with us, so we could not go upstairs.
