They sold me a faulty keyboard. I did get my money refunded in the end but they almost made me sign up to a membership to actually refund that item. The music here is very intense which I disliked.

Very disappointed with the service today. Very rude staff member that had no interest at all in helping completely different way of trading in now unless she just couldn?t be bothered. Was also told to go home and charge it I have never been told that I have to do that when they test they always put it on charge. What a waste of my time

I recently visited CeX to sell my Chromebook. The staff member who served me was polite and even mentioned he had the same model?just not in as good condition. He carried out a thorough visual inspection and booked it in for testing the following day due to a backlog.
When I returned the next day to check on the outcome, I was told they couldn?t accept the Chromebook because of a crack on the keyboard. This crack was not present when I handed it in?something the initial staff member would have definitely noticed during his visual check.
What made it worse was seeing them remove other items from on top of the Chromebook when I came in?raising serious concerns about how it was handled while in their care.
I contacted customer service, but they refused to take responsibility or offer a resolution, essentially saying I can?t prove the damage happened in-store.
Really disappointed with the lack of accountability here. I won?t be using them again.

Have used this store on multiple occasions to purchase a Nintendo switch and games, always met with incredibly friendly staff who take the time to give advise when needed and always receive fantastic customer service with a smile.

How can you tell me to go away for half hour why they test a router, to come back to we can?t buy it without a Ethernet cable? It had 2 items the router and power plug , why not tell me this in the beginning? Stop waisting peoples time!

CeX Barnstaple. Cain, Geary and Brodie... in fact the whole team are wonderful. They're supportive to each other in helping customers and Cain and Gerry shared their expertise with me generously giving time (on 2 separate occasions as I'm such a tech ludite) so that I could get my PC sorted with the Samsung monitor I bought.
