Good tasting coffee (though on expensive side) and the vegan cake was yummy. The place needed a thorough clean I was loathe to touch the door on my way out. Upstairs was out of order during my visit so people were given the key to use the accessible toilet. It is open later than some of the nice independent cafes.
The staff at Cafe Nero, Barnstaple, are so friendly and welcoming. They’re a small team and get to know their clients. They are always chatty, polite, and accommodating. For this reason alone, it’s my go to coffee shop.
