Thanks to Babs at B&Q Barnstaple for helping supply us cardboard for Appledore carnival costumes. Babs on several occasions helped us out and I?m pleased to say we collected a good sum of money for charity and the icing on the cake we won best float overall. Thanks Babs your help was really appreciated.

Disappointed with the kitchen display, I needed a replacement extractor hood but the only one on display was a discontinued model.

Possibly the worst B&Q I have ever used. Example: I asked an assistant if they could help me to convert metric screw sizes to the old "length by gauge" system only to be told that screws had never been measured that way. And that's only one example of the way I've been treated in the store.

Only visited to get some bathroom silicone sealer. Staff who I spoke to were helpful and friendly.

Don?t ever purchase a kitchen from B&Q!! Have installed a number of kitchens over the years and B&Q kitchens are not quality and cost more in labour to modify carcasses etc. Best thing to do is get a price from B&Q and Howdens will match it!!

Plenty off parking also disable spaces by the main door. Good selection of most D.I.Y. items..I would like to see a wood cutting service as this would help people to take home wood lengths ....Hopefully B&Q. Will take notice..
