A very nice bar. The decor is exceptional and well maintained. The service was a little slow but I feel that's because we weren't that visible. I felt the prices were a little expensive but I'll definitely be back.

21 of us booked in for the carver for my mum?s 80 birthday. Food was great staff really friendly and helpful. Very accommodating. For such a big number even put the football on for us to watch in the main bar. ?? keep up the good

Really lovely sirloin steak served to perfection. However, that mashed potatoes prawn curried starter was dissapointing as the mashed potatoes was hard and no refund for the starter was offered at the time of the bill was due. Otherwise a lovelymeal in a good atmosphere

Went Christmas day for lunch. Dreadful meal... Canapés dry with no flavour. Turkey tasteless. Stuffing balls impossible to cut as rock hard. Yorkshire puds, brittle. Ginger pannacotta sooo full of ginger, burnt mouth and made eyes water.. Not a good experience, especially as paid £85...never again will I eat there.

Lovely restaurant . Great service and atmosphere. Good vegetarian choices. Accommodated us as a last minute drop in of 3 people despite being busy with Christmas parties in. Faultless.

Had a wonderful few hours here for the festive bottomless brunch with a couple girlfriends. Opted for the fajitas which were plentiful and tasty. Think I tried most of the festive cocktails on the menu and they were all very tasty. Service was top notch as it was so busy and the team really did look after us so thank you.

A really great place to have some lunch in Barnstaple. The food is divine and the service is superb. You don't necessarily have to reserve beforehand but it does get busy due to it's popularity.Very highly recommended!

I am still in slight shock that for a main meal only and one drink each our bill totalled £60. The food was good but I wouldn't return.

Had an amazing evening before going out for dinner in this bar. the cocktails were perfect, the barman was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. the decor was great.

Stayed here for business. Fair price, comfy, clean, well-appointed rooms. Very lovely breakfast, great dinner menu and friendly staff.
