Greggs and subway clean and tidy but the air con was on too high it was freezing in there wasn't comfortable sitting in eating our food

My friend and I stayed here recently during our bikepacking trip across Devon. The room was clean and nicely presented, with thoughtful touches like coffee and tea provided, as well as toiletries included in the bathroom. After a long day of cycling, it was such a relief to have a comfortable space to relax in.
We also appreciated the secure space they had for storing our bikes overnight ? it gave us real peace of mind. Overall, it is a great place to stay, close to a nice pub and a good value for money.

Is not a motel anymore. Greg's and a Subway instead now. Was what you'd expect food wise.
Toilets were not clean and smelt strongly of urine, and it didn't look like it was busy enough in the time I was there to justify the lack of cleaning.

Unfortunately, Greggs has taken over A35 Pit Stop. Cafe style, but suggest take away. All the tables were dirty and by the smell of the toilets facility they hadn't been cleaned for some time. A miss for me on my journey to Devon.

There was only one toilet available, when there should be three, causing quite a long queue. This isn't the first time this has happened. I frequently travel this route, and more often than not, the toilets are locked, apart from the disabled one! What's going on at the Kilmington Greggs!
