Visited for the first time and am so happy I did.
The owner and his wife are such lovely people, the food is great, and an excellent range.
The regulars and the way the staff interact with them was heartening to see after so many pubs just feeling like a place, this feels like a community spirit and its a great thing to enjoy.
Lots of outdoor seating, loots of indoor seating, good selection of draft to choose from too.
I need Gf food, they had a great selection, though I am very envious of the burgers as they looked incredible. As did the pie. I wish they were GF but what I did have was great.
Will def visit again.
Just past the parking area, there is the 'Druids Temple', a great stone area which is well worth the explore for people who dont mind a bit of a scramble.

The staff was really kind to my boyfriend and I who visited here for the first time whilst camping and we had a lovely experience. We went on burger night and the food was delicious and affordable, I would highly recommend visiting here if you're ever in Birch over.

Delicious Sunday Roast. Lovely old pub, plenty of parking & lots of outdoor seating. Staff all really friendly & welcoming. Our Only gripe was, despite being told when we ordered our food that there was a delay in the kitchen, we felt 40 minutes was a bit excessive. We were starving when we finally got our food. Other than that, was a nice lunch out. Thank you.

Lovely service, really friendly staff who are genuinely authentic with their local welcome, and very welcome to tourists! Really good quality food, excellent service and genuinely a lovely pub, with lovely staff! Would 100% recommend and will be returning!

My friends and I were at the start of a 28km hike. We were 4km in and absolutely drenched and the staff here spotted us and took us in.
They were so lovely and we had some beers, cake and tea. We then stopped on the way back with 4km left. It was fantastic

The staff at The Druid saw three pitiful walkers from Suffolk drenched to their skin, took us in early and allowed us to dry off and warm up. Very grateful! Lovely cake too!

We visited today for lunch before going to see the druids cave. Lovely helpful staff and amazing food. Great portion sizes. The building was also really nice, a proper local pub. We will definitely be visiting again ?
