I came here to celebrate my son's 40th birthday.
There was a group of 8.
The food was delicious and the service was top-notch.
Definitely a place to re-visit.

It was our first time here today and can honestly say the Carvery is bloomin delicious!
The best carvery we have ever had (other than our own roast ?)
We couldn't believe how well topped up it was, regularly cleaned and fresh food filled up.
We will be back to try the rest of the menu.
The staff are so friendly, they can't do enough and honestly such a pleasant place to experience after a long week!
Can't wait to do it again ?

Just popped in for late lunch, this our seventh visit and we are always impressed with the high standard of the staff they are always friendly and attentive. The food has always been excellent and nicely presented we look forward to returning and we highly recommend it.

Food was very poor, two starters, one meat carvery, one vegetarian carvery (with just the veg) and a steak with three drinks cost over £100. Meat was stringy, roast potatoes and parsnips were out of the freezer, as were the carrots and peas (the only green vegetable offered), mashed potatoes were instant The cauliflower cheese was mostly just sauce and was also out of the freezer and had no flavour at all. All the veggies were very watery, mushy and cold. The steak meal got picked at.
We got overcharged which was rectified. Most of the staff were very very polite, one was not.
The toilets were very clean, decor was pleasant and there was ample parking.
We will not be returning as it's terrible value for money.

Never had a bad meal here.
I usually go for their wonderful wood fired pizzas but last night I tried the ultimate kebab and it was amazing. Pork gyros, seekh kebab, tandoori chicken and halloumi!
A cracking independent pub that's well worth the 30 minute drive away!

Really disappointed came with group of 9 people waited ages to be asked if we wanted a drink there was one poor woman runnning round all night on her own looks like got no staff or not enough we had to shout the lady over to order the food as sat waiting for she?s food eventually came burnt re heated chips black garlic bread don?t mind waiting if food is going to be perfect but not the cheapest place to eat and the food comes out like this had to shout the lady over again for another drink as no one came over 2 hours and 2 drinks the service is so slow think you need more staff poor lady running round on her own one person on the bar u wont be returning

Booked a table on a Saturday night for 7pm with no issues, called them up to let them know we were going to be about 5-10 minutes late - a guy answered the phone, was super rude straight away huffing and puffing because he couldn?t hear us very well, we said we were going to be slightly late to be told ?well you?ll be looking at an hour and a half for the food and we aren?t doing pizzas now? - we asked why and again very rudely said ?well because we?re very busy.? Not quite sure why we weren?t just told that when we originally booked but he was so rude on the phone we didn?t bother ?
