I really wish I had read the reviews before booking an appointment. My daughter was wrongly prescribed glasses at this place, which we only discovered after visiting a different optician. On top of that, the behavior we experienced here was unacceptable. Thankfully, we found out before any lasting issues. Please, avoid this place ? I would not recommend it to anyone.

I have quite complex eye issues and Swadlincote are always very helpful and prompt, very knowledgeable with my retinal issues.

Should be giving a 0! Insulted by the Optician, no help from staff with glasses selection, arrived 2 weeks later to collect my glasses and the order was wrong and I now have to wait another 2 weeks for the correct glasses! Fuming to say the least and I certainly would not recommend this store as the service all round has been shocking!

Great opticians, great services and kind people. Me and my wife got 4 new pairs of glasses and the optician was excellent and Matt was really helpful and did an excellent fitting session, thank you.UPDATE: We also had an earwax removal session with the Hassan the audiologist on 01 March. Top class service and Hassan was excellent, it was obvious he is an expert in his field, really helpful and gave some great advice. Thanks

I needed a pair of prescription sunglasses , having had a recent eye test.I was able to pick them up in two weeks. Very pleased with them and with the service I received. No hard sell, just decent advice.

Tried and failed to get someone to do a heading test on my blind, mostly deaf and housebound mom. After I visited the store three times, filling in forms and having multiple assurances that someone would call to make an appointment, nothing happened. After wasting my time with Specsavers, I used "The Outside Clinic", who immediately made an appointment for the following week and got the job done.

Very happy with the service I received. I booked online and got an appointment for the following day. I was seen promptly once there. No hard selling, left to choose the glasses myself. Staff very friendly and helpful
