Excellent for a main superstore. Prices may vary to be cheaper or more expensive, elsewhere, but that's the way of the world at the moment. They have prices match to rival stores and also nectar card related offers.

I have shopped at this store for several years and have always been happy with the service I have received, until now. I have just received a parking penalty charge from the Swadlincote store. I had parked for 2 hours 28 minutes which is well within the 3 hour parking limit which Sainsbury's put on their customers. I did not know why I had received this notice. I then found out that they have reduced the parking limit to 2 hours. I have been shopping in this store for many years and do not read the parking regulations every time I park there, nobody does. I do not understand why a store would want to deter customers from parking and visiting their store. I am very disappointed that a store where I have shopped for many years would treat a loyal customer like this. I am seriously considering wether to continue to shop at this store.

I like Sainsbury's stores and petrol stations. It's a good store with a wide variety of goods, services, promotions and good prices. I recommend!

Quick self-checkouts usually help if you are in a hurry.
A real pain how many times you get bag checked though. I heard an elderly couple on the next checkout saying it happens to them most times.
I think sainsburys needs a better system!
