Clean, tidy and we'll stocked shop.

The staff were pleasant and the shop was well stocked. However, the price of fuel wasn't shown on the electronic sign, so you were at the pump before you knew how much you were going to pay.

I have to say that I had a VERY disappointing shop yesterday. I arrived at the store slightly after opening at 8am for a quick shop with the intent of being home by 9am (we live 10 minutes away). I bought a total of 45 items for a total cost of £84.02I used (as always) the smart shop option in which I scanned every item that I bought and had them in two big shopping baskets. When I tried to check out and pay the system wouldn't let me. An assistant came along and said that she needed to check a few items. I have had this 2-3 times before when the rummage through the bags and check 6-10 items to make sure that I hadn't "forgotten" to scan something or was trying to steal something. This time she was told to check EVERY item which involved completely emptying both bags and checking every item and then putting everything back in my two oversized bags. I missed my meeting and worse I was made to feel like a criminal. Had I scanned every single item yes! Was it a good experience- Hell no! Did I feel like a criminal? Yes! Very upsetting- is this level of investigation really necessary?!?!

Come here at 4:50am, all lanes except pay at pump were understandably coned off however when I went to pay at the pump I was told I can?t because there not open for another 15 minutes? Why not just cone off the entire station if you?re not going to let customers use the pay at pump option, won?t be using these again.

I know its relatively trivial, especially right now, but did they really have to start charging for air? You now have to do a three minute dash around your car or have to pay another 30p.If you train hard, and you get your time down to less than a minute, you can get air at Morisons for 10p a min!Sainsbury's have also replaced the free water at the petrol station and now charges £1 for screen wash. Bottled still water is available in-store for 17p for 2L.

During lockdown, I've felt the safest at Swad Sainsburys. Staff friendly, helpful & queuing made simple. Trolleys & baskets cleaned regularly. Good social distancing measures in store too. Well done to all the team

Free air and water, sometimes longer queues for the petrol but by far the best petrol station in Swad. We don't tend to go anywhere else as its really conveniently located for us.

90% of the staff are happy and polite but one member of the team let's her colleagues down

Can get manic at busy times but the extra long reach hoses are great. I drive a 7 seater and they fit round my car and I can easily fill up. Prices are average for the area but the ease of access is great.

Ok price by comparison. Access to pumps ok but can be tight at times.
