The staff here are so friendly and knowledgeable. After being dissatisfied by a high street optician, moving to Prince & Bates a few years ago was a revelation.On my latest visit I was advised that I needed new glasses. Ben was very patient whilst helping me to choose them and so diligent in ensuring that the fit was spot on.I can't recommend Prince & Bates highly enough!

Lovely experience. The most friendly staff. Do not hesitate to use these opticians. I genuinely felt the personnal touch. While I visited today I saw the care given to another customer when deciding on which spectacles to choose. The staff attention, and desire to give the customer the best was commendable. Thank you sincerely for making my visit.

My first time at Prince and Bates, Swadlincote, yesterday, after using large chain for years. Well, I definitely won't be returning to said large chain!I've been experiencing problems with my sight for some time now but nothing was detected until yesterday. Turns out I have a small cateract on each eye, right in the centre of my vision. It was such a relief to discover the cause of my problem, and that it can be fixed. Big thank you

Excellent. At last glasses that actually work. For years I?ve been going to the large chains and had poor service and glasses that just aren?t right. Just got my new glasses from Prince and bates and couldn?t be more pleased. Fantastic service.

I?ve just wrapped up an all round outstanding experience at this opticians.Great staff from the moment I went in to look at frames in the window.Friendly, bright, beautifully energetic & went every single step to make the boring experience of getting a test & new frames enjoyable.I shall 100% return here.Could not be happier. Mrs Knightly referred me for cataract removal which I?m really grateful, now both done ,and the glasses which are the best I?ve had. Would definitely recommend Prince & Bates.
