Used to used to this bank on a Monday, but now it?s closed as they said that it wasn?t busy enough to be open 6 days. It was always rammed on a Monday, so I now have to use it on a Tuesday. Guess what, it?s mega rammed on a Tuesday, because all the people that used it on a Monday are now using it on a Tuesday, as well as the regular folk that use it on a Tuesday!!! What a stupid idea.

Has all the charm and warmth of an open grave. Tried desperately to direct me to the auto deposit machine, but I wanted a receipt and it was out of paper (maybe they should fit a new roll?). Gave the distinct impression that they didn't want to serve customers. As it was it took the cashier nearly 10 mins to accept two cheques that I wanted to pay in.

Bank no good for people that work for cash and work normal hours. Can no longer deposit outside at the machine. You have to go in and never open

Really dissapointed with the service in our local bank. It looks like some of the employees don't care about the customers at all. I felt completely ignored by the woman sitting in a main desk. She was with another customer didn't acknowledged me at all. Literally didnt care about the customers and the queue.There was another customer who was waiting for a long time and left the branch without being served just what we did. Can't wait 20mins and not being served or acknowledged. I would kindly advise to call somebody else to help when there is a queue not just ignore people who are waiting forever. Really disapointed.

The bank is good - when you can find it open! They have some ridicous timings, I mean who closes at 4:30 on weekdays? Better still I'm pretty sure the doors get locked a little earlier than that if no one is around. It just doesn't give people, who work for cash, the chance to pay it in.
The staff are friendly enough, they do like pushing you toward the auto pay in machine though. However its stolen my card and half of my money before. I got it back within a few minutes but it was bloody scary as it decided to eat my holiday money!
Over all a 3 star experience. The place is a little pushy - in a friendly way - but the opening hours really let it down.

I have had to visit the Customer Service desk at the bank several times over the past few months for various reasons and have been dealt with by a different member of staff each time with the same curtiuous and helpful manner.

Arrived expecting the bank to be open as it stated on Google for opening times that the bank was open until 7pm on a Thursday. I was standing at the doors as it just struck 4.30 pm and read that the closing time was 4.30 pm - obviously they are extremely prompt at locking up!

This branch of Lloyds TSB is one of Swadlincote's main banks, situated on the High Street. A fairly small branch, it is often very busy, with queues often through the door and down the street. It still mystifies me that when Lloyds and TSB amalgamated to become one bank, they relocated to the smaller of the two branches that were present in Swadlincote at that time! Still, it has four counters, with helpful and efficient staff and a customer service desk to deal with more complicated issues. Two external cashpoint machines complete the package.
