Professional and caring, friendly great prices too, nothing too much trouble, friendly receptionist.Being referred here to treat dec my 15 year old boy, jess did a great job to treat his eye ulcers,un fortunately due to his age, and weight loss we had to make the hardest decision on Tuesday night to let him go, thanks to Charlotte for giving us time to say our goodbyes, he passed away so peacefully. Thanks brightside. Will see you at your Tamworth branch. Thanks brightside for taking care of Dec's cremation, all so caring when we came to collect him, lovely wooden box, bottle of his fur and clay paw print can't thank you enough. Thanks to jess Starr for the lovely text we received the day after dec passed.

I was already registered with Brightside vets 4 yrs ago, when my Labrador benji had a bad tummy ache, after staying in overnight, they couldn?t find anything wrong. I paid the extortionate bill of £1300. Plus £200 for medication he didn?t really need. And went on my way.Fast Forward to January 21st 2024. My beloved boy is now 15 and is at the end of his life, struggling with liver cancer and its wicked symptoms?..I knew it was time for me to do the right thing and send him peacefully to sleep. End his suffering.4 hrs before the appointment I get a phone call. Saying before they can euthanise him they will need to scan his chip. To make sure he belongs to me!And I said, he?s already registered with you, you should already have all this information on file.At the time my mind went into panic, ?what happens if I get there with him and I have forgot to update the chip. Honestly my brain turned to mush.I said what will happen will you turn him away. I was starting to get extremely emotional. He replied ?well actually it?s a legal requirement to have up to date chip in place?I don?t need to hear this at this present time! I was absolutely dreading the appointment anyway, saying goodbye to your beloved pet is hard enough as it is.Don?t get me wrong, I understand that if someone new was coming in and requesting a perfectly healthy dog to be euthanised, they obviously would have to step in and do the checks. I get it !But to start wanting to first check a chip on a dying very poorly dog, and start asking me questions, and demands whilst I?m trying to keep my brain switched on. And not break down, I was a panic mess.I said he?s registered with you already. He?s on your system already. I said shouldn?t you have checked this before now.His reply was , ?well yes but it wasn?t done? and ?we?ve updated our computer system? I kept asking what happens if I get there and you can?t find the chip. Ect remember my brain is in fight or flight I?m not thinking clearly. He said unless we have proof of ownership nothing can be done. I said what ! My dog is in severe distress, he?s dying as I speak. He needs help.I couldn?t talk anymore, I just hung up. I was an absolute mess full of anxiety. I just needed help to end his suffering.I called hartshorne vet instead after reading their fabulous reviews onlineThey treated me and my benji with respect and compassion and understanding and patience that we both needed at this most heartbreaking moment. And I thank them from the bottom of my broken heart. They didn?t need to start checking chips for ownership proof. Anyone with 1 brain cell could clearly see, he was at the end of his life.I WOULDNT recommend bright side vet to my worse enemy. They don?t care one bit about compassion. I spoke to the manager and he was more bothered with talking over me. Interrupting me, and making me feel like the worst pet mom he?s ever spoke too!You ?brightside vets? made a very sad day turn into my absolute worst nightmare. And I will hate you for it for as long as I live!!!1 star is too much. They deserve no stars !

First time visit with my cat. The vet was excellent, explained everything to me in a friendly manner. Didn't feel rushed as she was quite open to answer any questions I had. Reception staff were kind and thoughtful and again, very helpful.

We took our cat here on recommendation from friends and we couldn?t be happier. Reasonably priced vets with wonderful staff, very kind, friendly and helpful. They explain everything clearly and create a really warm atmosphere. The waiting area has a cat corner away from dogs and other pets to make the wait less stressful for them.

I have been fortunate and unfortunate enough to required Bright Side a couple of times.Once for castration on a French Bulldog - the team were fantastic, reasonable pricing and a friendly happy atmosphere. Also great aftercare.Secondly was the unfortunate event which was at the time my old, depleting Husky. It was time, Bright Side held our hand through the process and really made the sad moment a comfortable one. He was a big boy, I'm talking 50kg and the price was really good, so good I almost went elsewhere because I was expecting a poor service but I was very, very surprised. They took care of us and our boy. We had an individual cremation, and we're presented in less than two weeks with a wonderful coffin style box, clay paw print and a small clipping of his hair. RIP KIKO. ???Bright Side, thank you.
