We went yesterday (Sunday) for lunch. We didn't book a table, but were accommodated. The food, the service and atmosphere was second to none. I cant recommend the Black Lion highly enough.

Pleasantly surprised! I had never been here before. The staff worked very hard on a New menu. We were a huge dining party, 27 of us, I believe. Our food was delicious! I had the steak with pepper corn and Stilton sauce, perfect. ? Thank you for your great service.
Been to The Black Lion twice now and loved it both times! The first time we had an excellent lunch in their beer garden. We visited again today and had another delicious meal. The staff have also been very friendly and professional on both occasions and we will definitely hope to be back again soon!
