Thank you for a fantastic meal. The camembert starter was really nice, 2 for £34 on steaks with 2 beers, such a good deal, the quality of food was really good. And to end a delicious winter berry cheese cake. Lovely atmosphere, loved the fire and very nice staff.

Was so let down on our last visit to the schoolhouse. Been many times and always been impressed with the food and service. The service this time wasn't as good felt like the staff was just confused all night and that we was just annoying. It wasn't even busy not that this would be a excuse. The School House at the White Heart is not your run of the mill bar and restaurant. Step inside and its quirky interior whisks you away to another world. There are two separate areas to the interior; the bar area which consists of high tables situated towards the entrance(perfect for drinks) adjoining the woodland area with two long dining tables seating up to 20 people. The main restaurant (the old school) is light and airy, still with its original sash windows and with seating for up to 50 people. New for summer 2017 is the “Secret Garden” a large garden terrace area with tables and chairs, an event bar and BBQ.
