We as a family come here quite often. We have 3 daughters, there partners and 10 grandchildren, we book by all the different family names.. The only thing is the price of the small play area. As gone up... We think as a family spending monies on food and drink the play area should be free or a nomanal price. But 10 out of 10..Parking: Lots of space.. Disable parking spaces are adequate..Kid-friendliness: Lovely soft play area. For the young ones.. Think it's slightly high priced. When you spending a lot on meals and drinks.. Should be nominal, say £2... Plus there is a out side area for summer time.. 10 out of 10..

Ok place. The menus are covered in a weird sticky residue and the food is overpriced, but ok I guess. The staff are very friendly and the play area for kids is brilliant! Although they got one of our orders wrong as well.

Food menu was a set menu for boxing day at £24 a head. Not much of a choice to be honest. Carvery was "overcooked" vegetables. Warmed up and stale roast potatoes. Gravy was like water. Absolutely awful.Ran out of soup has a starter. This was 1pm!!!!!! Prawn cocktail well lettuce was iced up in places. Hardly any sauce. Friend had Salmon for main that was dried up along with the vegetables too.Christmas pudding had been warmed up too much in microwave it had gone solid in places.. Cudnt eat it.Absolutely horrendous. Before you could order off the bar menu which was so much better on boxing day. Never ever will i step foot in your pub again. I could have cooked it better myself

Really nice family friendly restaurant, there was plenty for the kids to do in the play area that kept them occupied. Food was good just your standard pub food, staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall, good value for money. Whilst it took 45 minutes from ordering to arrive, once it did it was very nice. The steak on the mixed grills were tough and full of gristle though. Everything else fine, and bar staff friendly and approachable.

Went for a Sunday lunch last weekend at about 5pm. It was OK. The staff are lovely. I've been before and the Sunday carvery was delicious but I went earlier about 1pm.There's a soft play for kids costs £3 which is big enough for them to play in.

Had to wait a long time for food, had turkey dinner, everything was out of freezer except turkey, peas like bullets, Brussels unedible, stuffing hard, roasts in a clump, best bit, mashed swede and turkey...Starters were "ok"Won't be returning

Pretty decent food for a relatively low price. A good atmosphere inside and quite quick service. Only reason it ranked a bit lower was because you had to go upto the bar and order. This was no problem but just means I can't rank service much higher. However staff were lovely.

It's a Brewers Fayre, so you know it is going to provide familiar dishes for the weary business traveller. Service was very helpful and friendly, the food was perfectly fine - not exciting or novel, but a medium rare steak and a runny fried egg show a competent kitchen.

Food was good and reasonably priced. Service prompt, food not as much, but it was busy. We were sat in the conservatory which was cold and felt a little cramped.Parking: Parking immediately outside the restaurant.

Went to a childs birthday party here. Awful experience. They booked us adults tables to have meals outside the soft play area but we wanted to supervise our children in the soft play area but we wasnt allowed to sit down on the tables in there as they booked our tables in restaurant area. Also the menu there isnt much choice.Wont be going to eat or play there again

Like most pub family restaurants, experience was alright. Menu had the selection of steak, pies, pasta, fish, salads and burgers. I went for a three pie selection dish, which had three small pies of different flavours. They were exactly what I thought. Thought it would be slightly bigger pies, taste wise, there was slight hint of spice on the chicken tikka, otherwise it was a bit bland. But overall, atmosphere was nice and simple, the staff was great.
