We went to La Roc for lunch on Sunday and the food was simply sublime. The service was polite, efficient and catered to our every need.
Starters of pork belly, duck and salmon were beautifully prepared and devoured by my wife son and myself.
Mains of beef for my wife and so were beautify prepared, and the halibut was Devine.
We have ate there before and it?s an experience second to none

I really wanted to enjoy the meal, but unfortunately the mains were a big letdown. I?m not sure what cut of beef was served, but it had a pungent, almost butcher shop smell that was off putting from the start. I usually enjoy a good fillet, wagyu, or ribeye cooked medium rare, but this cut looked closer to belly or something much fattier. I even asked for it to be cooked more, hoping that might help, but the strong stench remained and made it hard to eat.
The lamb dish didn?t look much better, it didn?t look particularly appealing and didn?t deliver on taste either, (I tasted the potato underneath it, it really didnt taste nice at all) I was starving and ended up switching to the halibut, which I requested with minimal salt as everything else, including the sides, was overly seasoned. Thankfully, the fish was cooked nicely and was the saving grace of the meal.
Dessert was just okay, not bad, but nothing memorable. The real highlight for me was the goat?s cheese starter. I?d eat that every day, absolutely delicious.
All in all, a very mixed experience. I left full, but not impressed.

I made a booking, then their automated service cancelled it! I wasn?t happy, but after I?d calmed down I called the manager to complain and she was great. The reservation was re-booked and we?re now looking forward to our anniversary meal.

Celebrated my husbands birthday.Its our favourite go to for a fabulous meal guaranteed. As always the staff were amazing and meal was 5 ? and the atmosphere so relaxing. Highly recommend ?

My sister and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant which we have eaten at before, however, I had a violent reaction to a seafood dish from which I am still recovering. I feel this is something the owners must be aware of but cannot find a way of contacting them on line other than here. This is probably a one off

I came here for my partner's birthday. Very lovely atmosphere and wonderful service, even better food. Nothing to fault.
The staff are very friendly, polite and attentive. There was a large party booked downstairs but to be fair it was not something that disturbed us and they weren't overly noisy.
There is a free carpark over the road (however from April 1st will be chargeable).
