Can?t rate this place enough! The landlord & lady & their family are lovely as are all the bar staff. Great selection of drinks & snacks & the food is amazing! Proper pub food, home cooked, well priced & generous portions. We go there regularly and have never had a bad meal.
Open mic night is also great & they have a pizza van once a month - what?s not to like!

A lovely proper, well run, unpretentious, friendly village pub. We had a wonderful lunch, good food and reasonably priced. We will certainly return.

The Bulls Head is in the village of Rosliston, which I've passed on many occasions, but this one Saturday, I eventually stopped outside.
The pub has two rooms firstly the left, which is a lounge that is probably used more for the food, and dogs can not go into but the second lounge/bar to the right is very dog friendly and comfortable.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful and really make a fuss of all the dogs.
On my first visit, I noticed a drink that I hadn't seen in many places around this area, which is Theakson Mild, one of my favourites, I was like a kid in a sweet shop. They have different ales, largers, and cider on tap all of what I consider to be well placed in this lovely pub. They have a courtyard beer garden, which is very nice and quite a suntrap, when it's out.
I haven't managed to be there when they serve food, but I will at some point, and the menu has some lovely homemade dishes, so I can't wait. Just a note they do serve freshly made baps, which I have had, and I must say they are very tasty, especially with a beer.
I mentioned the lovely pint of Mild, but when I returned my glass(s) I noticed something else that many probably remember that a Manns Brown Ale went well with a decent Mild and there it was on the shelf so I couldn't go without trying it for old time sake ? and now I'm hooked.
So don't drive past this lovely pub pop in and enjoy the range of beers along with the conversation with the friendly staff and the welcoming regulars.
So thank you all at the Bulls Head and might see you in there sometime soon.

Thank you very much for everthing dear friends, I'll be back. ;)

Most beautiful little pub stopped for a quick drink and use of the convenience OMG the toilets belong in a posh hotel so clean and lovely staff and customers even managed to get a handmade birthday card whilst I was here, definitely would have eaten here just no food on
