A quality destination. Lovely ambience and standards are even better than 7 years ago. (My first post) If you have friends visiting.... this is your No1 place to visit...and I have no connections with the Cowshed.! We are cyclists and this is a great stop off on the cross-country route via Hopton Hall to Draycott and beyond.(Swarkstone and The Cloud Trail. ....Visit The Bull at Wilson if you go on The Cloud Trail)

Really enjoyed the food and had the best matcha ever, I asked Alice how it was made and she showed me all the stuff they used and told me how to make it. Alice is so lovely and her customer service is perfect, thank you for making my visit great!

I would like to thank the team for putting together a last minute package today for a family member. Nothing was too much Trouble and you went above and beyond out of the kindness of your heart to help after we were let down by another company. Super fresh and good quality food. Really friendly staff and a nice cosy atmosphere. Dogs very welcome inside and out which is a great bonus after a walk around the local footpaths!

It was a very nice place to visit , dog friendly. Food as you can see by pictures, food was a real treat, service very good. I have to add the cakes to die for.
Great outdoor seating area plus nice cosy inside restaurant area. Would recommend a visit, pricing reasonable. Cowshed as you can see, we very much enjoyed our visit with the family. Keep up the good work thanks M&J
