The place was really clean and tidy, the music and atmosphere was very good for a relaxing Sunday. The food was great and not fatty and the sherry trifle cheesecake was amazing

Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon as a family. We ordered a adults Sunday lunch, children's Sunday lunch, pizza & fish & chips.
The pizza, though delayed to come out was fantastic & by far the best meal out of choices. Fish & chips was ok.
The 2 roast dinners however we're disappointing. The turkey on the children's meal was inedible, extremely dry. The veg was over cooked on both plates & the Yorkshire puddings were more like pancakes dripping in fat.
The wait for puddings was far too long & we ended up ordering these via the app. Luckily only the children wanted these & despite the long wait for them to arrive they satisfied their hunger.
We certainly wouldnt rush back, however if we did it would be to order the pizzas only.

I came onTuesday 29th July at 1pm
The atmosphere wasn't very good
The service was OK, but I ordered the Scampi, which said 6 pieces and there were only 5 and the meal was not over hot.
I ordered a hot chocolate, which took 5 minutedms to arrive and was cold when it did.
The table was very sticky as were the floors
This used to be a good place to visit.
I have been coming here for years and feel it has gone down hill.

I went for dinner with my mum and ordered a starter and a main meal. The starter took 30 minutes to come out and the main took 1 hour 20 minutes, the place was pretty busy and it looked understaffed. After 1 hour 10 I asked the staff where our food was and if they forgot about us and they said 10 minutes. When it came there was no apology for the time waited, no check back on the meal, no pre telling about how long it would take. Been here quite alot of times and usually it's extreamly good. The food is always excellent just on this occasion very disappointing service, especially when we had plans we had to get to and seeing a table of 6 that ordered 45 minutes after us get there food first was very disappointing. Strongbow is also 5.10 a pint.

Understaffed App to order is a nightmare. Half the items not on. Very little customisation on app as well so have to go to the bar and queue as app not working for most

I never do this but I was so disappointed with my visit to the Bulls head today. I had the Sunday roast and it was terrible. The meat couldn?t be cut up. The dog had trouble chewing it. The mashed potato was non descript and the stuffing was like cardboard. I was shocked. Waited and waited for someone to collect the dishes and to ask the obligatory ? was everything ok ? and nobody appeared. I won?t bothered again.

Food wasn?t great. Meat was like an old leather boot. Everything covered in grease. Missing items. Long wait for kids food. Won?t be returning.
