Great hotel, most welcoming staff I have met in a hotel even helped me on with my bags.
Rooms clean and comfortable, they are a little dated but does the job !!
Breakfast is served next door which suited our needs

Another 5star stay at ripley. Staff very friendly and rooms immaculately clean. Quick check in and nothing was a problem.

When we stayed our room was right next to reception. There was a few people drunk and in and out of there rooms arguing and shouting with each other. Receptionist never came to look when it went on for hours and it was right near reception. When we complained to premier inn they wasn?t interested which put us off, it took a few times of complaining before we got anywhere. The hotel was ok but this incident just put us off.
Safety: Didn?t feel safe when people were in and out of the rooms drunk and arguing making loads of noise. Don?t blame the receptionist when they work by themselves on an evening but they were nowhere to be seen.

Overall another good Premier Inn stay, staff friendly and helpful. The room was a "Classic" but moved the TV to the wall and the kettle to near the door, leaving the central shelves empty. Great location with a short walk into Ripley itself.

Getting a bit tired. Ready for a revamp. Used to stay in Premier inns for years all over the country and always found most top notch.
As to Premier, I wouldn't quite say that name agrees with the hotel. Tend to stay at Travel lodge now as much seem to be of a higher standard and more competitive as well.

Rooms very basic and you have to ask for housekeeping. Biggest issue was the WiFi, which was extremely slow and kept dropping out, even when I paid the £5 per day for the ?super fast? broadband. The staff, however, are so lovely. They are so happy to help and are very kind. Location was fine for me, and it was surprisingly quiet at night despite being very central.

Same wherever you go, love a bit of consistency. Really friendly staff. Had an issue with the heating in the room and it was sorted as soon as we mentioned it.

I have stayed many times with my family & have recently traveled solo. The hotel is always clean & the staff are always friendly.
We use the hotel to stay at when we come to visit family so use it multiple times in the year.
About two years ago my son left his soft toy after our stay, I rang the hotel and they kindly kept "bob" safe for us, displaying him in reception with a sweet messaged saying he was on holiday and waiting for my son to pick him back up. When we picked up Bob my son was even more excited because he was holding a chocolate bar & all the staff made a fuss over him. I felt that all the staff went above and beyond to make all our stays special.
I travelled solo for the first time & stayed here, I was nervous being a female solo travel but was reassured by Julie and she said that she had made sure that I was allocated a room which was in a safe place & I felt reassured they were looking after me.
It's really nice seeing familiar faces each time we stay. We have got to know Teresa on reception who always makes us feel welcome.

Teresa and the team were very welcoming and accommodating of a large group of us, allowing us earlier access to the rooms to allow us to get changed and available for our friend and colleagues funeral.
The rooms were clean and tidy as well as the whole hotel itself.
