One of the smaller lidl stores. This now sports new self-serve checkouts and a reduced number of staffed tills. This does relieve the frustration of waiting for extra staff to be called to reduce queues but does also bring the olympic challenge of holding stacks of shopping and scanning your receipt above waiste height to open the security gate... The store seems to exist in constant disarray and the floors and Isles are littered with cages, boxes, bakery bags and abandoned swept floor detritus. Baskets accumulate wrappers, leaves, and old shopping lists, and are often grubby - sometimes you have to go through several to find one you consider merits holding your family groceries. Despite all this, its a busy store and staff try to be helpful and polite.
Additional note, the car park has no established directional system so go slow. Also be aware of local skateboarders who have adopted the kerbs, loading bay, and carpark for their stunts and training.

Our first visit to Lidl for a long time. We didn't have their shopping app. We paid the price for that! Back to Aldi for us

So I often use lidl. Get all my meats, milk, yogurt and random bits. Though I stopped buying fruits and veg there as it doesn't have very long shelf life compared to other places ive been.
