Great meal on our first visit to the restaurant. The staff were friendly and the place was clean and had a nice casual atmosphere. Very good range of starters and main courses which were excellent value for money. The food was really nice, good flavours and decent portion sizes. Many of the other items on menu sound really nice, so would definitely return to try a few different meals. Great experience overall.

Had our takeaway and was absolutely amazing. Chicken Tikka Karaih and Korma, rice and naans. Will always go back, and the price is good too!

Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant...Travelled from Cornwall. To see my freinds/family and decided to come here for dinner. And was so happy we did. Food was excellent, cooked fresh & full of flavour. All staff was so welcoming and made our stay. Even the main chef Ram came out and thanked us for eating his lovely food.Will definitely be back 100%!! Big thanks too all the staff. What a incredible team / Family you all are. See you again soon.

They where very welcoming and polite and they look after me and my boyfriend Neil and Joe and the food was amazing out this wourld and pudding was amazing and we all will be definitely back and was lovely cannot recommend enough !

Truly authentic Gurkha food, been coming here for years and never had a bad meal or poor service, very friendly and welcoming staff, chef Lal is an amazing person always goes the extra mile, we have sampled most of the menu and each dish is unique.

Just been in to Kathmandu Gurkha in Ripley 6/10/23 to collect a takeaway. Been in here a few times with friends and I now only use the Gurkha for my Friday night takeaway. Best curry in Ripley by far and the onion bhaji's are fabulous. Staff always very friendly and always ready to please.

From start to finish welcomed with a friendly smile, food is absolutely impeccable! By far the best authentic traditional gurkha food in derbyshire! Have been coming here now for 8years and have not had a bad meal yet! No cause for complain whatsoever! Staff are very attentive and personable, get to know you and your orders and are keen to assist at all times. Food is piping hot and so fresh, fresh herbs used in every dish and each dish tastes unique! None of these dishes are out of a jar! Cannot recommend enough, give it a go you will not be disappointed!
