Myself and my partner went for lunch ...we had between us ...scotch egg which was lovely apart from being £9.95 for 1 small scotch egg which was with a chilli chutney ,also a small Crab Salade £11.75. which was with a slice of cucumber on the top no no sign of any other salade etc ...definitely not as we had seen on the website ,and also a Anti Pasti board which consists of a slice of German ham between us and then a slice each only of I assume pastrami and chorizo, 1 small slice of brie between us 5 small pieces of French bread ,2 olives each and 1 gerkin each and a small pot of olive oil and balsamic...if we had had at least 2 small slices of each meats and a slice of bri each, 3 slices of bread each because it is actually a share board it may have made a difference of £11.95 ...we had 2 large wines and 2 pints of lager..at a price of £70.79 total...which included a hidden service charge..this is probably why nobody else was eating ...the food did definitely not warrant the prices at all ..feel very ripped off ,but we will say the bar man was really nice and obviously has no bearing to this very disappointing review ?

Booked last minute today and the team there couldn?t have done more to make us feel more welcome.

We stayed in a house near this pub on our family holiday this year. We had a Sunday lunch there and did the pub quiz too. On both visits the manager and staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and charming. Great pub.

Came to the fine dining evening and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the lamb duo which was amazing. Service was also fantastic- my partner didn't like fish and was offered a delicious alternative whipped up quickly by the chef.
Overall very impressed and we think the food we have here is even better than what we had at The Fat Duck :-)

Came in recently while visiting my Dad for Easter. Had a lovely time here.
The bar team were incredibly friendly and personable.
Me and my cousin worked our way through all of their ales and they were all fantastic.

Stayed here for one night in our motorhome. Very warm welcome by Dannie and the bar staff / waitresses. The food was amazing and the service excellent. Also had a band playing that night.
Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again

Used to eat here many years ago. So first time back to eat a few days ago. Was impressed. Had lovely Sunday lunch. Quality of food really good. Thank you for putting a lovely nut roast on menu, as not all places do this. A tiny bit more veg would be good. Service very good. Welcoming staff. Lovely atmosphere. Good drinks menu. Well done to the team. Already recommended it to others. We'll be back. Will be bringing my friends. Thank you.
