My family went here for a meal on the 1st February 2025. We had a great time, the food was yummy, and despite it being extremely busy, service was quick. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Can recommend the following:- steak and ale pie, fabulous burgers, bangers and mash and chicken tenders. Great portion size and all reasonably priced. WILL DEFNITELY VISIT AGAIN. An easy 5 stars!! Thank you.

We hadn't been to the Wheatsheaf for many years, after we felt the food & service had deteriorated. Things have certainly changed. It was a really nice lunch experience for me, my wife & our grandson. Helpful, friendly staff and good food. We'll certainly be coming baxk for more.

i came on the evening of the 23 may with family had a lovely meal couldnt fault it 10 out 10 went in the evening ,,been today31st with friends at lunchtime 6 people well how dissapointed were we 4 of us had steak only 5oz tough grissley and had to pay 2 pds extra very small portions deserts we all had the cruble apple and cherry no cherries hardly any custard when we mentioned how dissapointed we were just got a shug of the shoulders how inbarrasing for me after i sung your praises for last weeks meal not impressed will not have lunch there again

Best burger I've ever eaten, rest of our party also enjoyed their meal. Good location. Visited before but ate outside that's even better in good weather. Staff excellent.

What a cracking little stopover! We stayed over here on Thursday night 23/05/24 (2 couples in motorhomes) Staff made us feel really welcome, food was great as was the breakfast the following morning. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a brilliant night on Thursday, thanks to Ryan and Luke for their hospitality. Hope to see you again soon.
