We came on a Sunday for a roast and had a lovely vegan chestnut roast with delicious gravy and roast potatoes. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we even had vegan vanilla ice cream for pudding!

Good British Pub fayre is a nice location. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. If your looking for a traditional British pub dinner it the place to go

I honestly cannot recommend this place. The food was very poor. I?m unsure how something can be stale, salty, greasy and tasteless all at the same time - but it was.
The staff were lovely but I?m genuinely very disappointed with the food quality and won?t be returning.
Apologies for the low review, I always hate leaving poor reviews as I know how much it can have an impact on a business but I?d hate for others to waste their hard earned money.

Absolute diamond of a place, we stayed two nights in room 1, the building is beautifully decorated and well maintained with the patio area being large and sympathetically designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape. All the staff were fantastic and friendly with efficiency being second nature. Highly recommended.

We called in for Father's day. We choose 2 Sunday Roast and 1 steak and Ale pie plus we had desserts, which were amazing at the Packhorse! Our servers were kind and enthusiastic the food was really fresh and delicious!.

A stunning position and outlook. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room which was very clean and had a high standard of furniture. Everything was provided for an overnight stay.
We had a meal in the pub and we were impressed with the choice and quality. The lamb was delicious! Now for breakfast!!
Recommend to anybody wanting to stay or have a meal whilst in the area.
