Used this restaurant a few times whilst visiting friends in Melbourne near Derby. There are only two Indian restaurants in Melbourne, both are acceptable. The owner is very hands on and keeps his staff on their toes. For what you pay and what you get, it's a pretty good restaurant and the food is okay. You are allowed to take your own drinks. It does not have a car park, but you can usually find on street parking nearby.

Went for first time last night, very welcoming staff, the meal was exceptional from the crisp, tasty poppadoms to the best jhall tikka I've ever had and on to the main which was delicious, all our party said theirs was also really really nice so as l said it was my first visit but it definitely won't be the last.

Food great, service very good. Restaurant a bit tired, walls grubby, table sticky. Needs white table linen. Toilets need upgrade. Atmosphere and surroundings a little disappointing, couldn't fault the food. Not sure if would go back any time soon..shame.

Lovely friendly restaurant with perfect front of house staff . Made to feel part of the family with superb recommendations from the menue . Starters and main courses plentiful and exactly as described on the excellently prepared menue . Staff could not have been more helpful with my friends who were a little wary of the menu in.respect of meals being too spicy . Top marks would definately recommend and revisit

Lovely welcoming place. Good prices. The main courses were some of the best we?ve had anywhere. We had chicken tikka bhuna and labra chicken. Both fantastic. Will definitely call again.
