Been here 2 times and the food is absolutely amazing the staff are very attentive and lovely to speak with always ready to help and advise on the best food always go out their way for my daughter and coom separate non spicy food for her .. atmosphere is homely and cosy. Going to be our new fave restaurant

What an absolutely amazing place!!! Booked this morning for my husbands 50th birthday, arrived to a birthday banner and such a warm friendly welcome from all the staff!! The food was absolutely outstanding, every part of it!! And we are already planning our next visit!!! 10/10 isn?t a high enough rating for this place!!! Then they came out with a cake for him to end an already brilliant evening!!! Thanks so so much to you all and we will 100% be back soon!!! Xxx

Came here from the USA to visit family members who strongly recommended Shalimar.
The service is top notch. The food is exceptional - we had papadam, dips, rice, garlic naan, chicken tikka, chicken korma, chicken bhuna, lamb roghan gosh, chicken samosa, onion bhagie. There perhaps aren?t enough words in the dictionary to describe how awesome a dining experience this was for my family which includes 2 young children. They have high table, and assisted with keeping the little one entertained while the delights I mentioned previously were prepared to perfection. The parking lot is huge, and the tunes at the restaurant were also delightful- great atmosphere.
To Ali, Akmed, and the entire staff, please keep up the awesome job.

Friendly staff, good service, nice atmosphere. However, some aspects of food not great. Poppadoms soft and clearly not recently made, serving dishes cold so food cooled quickly.

The experience couldn't have been any better from start to finish. Welcoming environment, attentive staff, food.....the best Indian food outside of India! The meat was cooked to absolute perfection. It just melted and was so full of flavour. Never had naan like theirs....melty gooey cheesy. Honestly, just incredible! I even asked for the remainder of my food to be bagged up to take home. I couldn't finish it but wasn't prepared to waste it.
It was my partners birthday, we mentioned it and at the end of the evening a cake and candle appeared for him. The manager had asked the delivery driver to collect a cake for him.
We had a wonderful evening, not just a meal. The whole experience was exceptional.

I was taken here for my birthday. The restaurant is nicely layed out with plenty seating available.
The staff are friendly and the service if first class.
The food is very nice, but some things were not great, onion bhajis were flat and doughy in the middle, egg rice didn't taste great and the chicken pakoras were dry.
I'd definitely go back as I'm sure the above isn't a regular thing.

Really enjoyed our meal here - service was attentive and friendly, staff were helpful with the menus. By far the best peshwari nan I?ve ever had! Good prices, lovely restaurant and easy to park.

We have been eating here for the last 7 to 8 years and have never been disappointed excellent food as well as amazing staff and service. If you are in the area please call in for a curry as like us will not be disappointed. It is very friendly to all ages. Very clean and good parking facilities. If I had to rate this out of 10 it would be over and above.

We've been here many times over the years.
The service is exceptional and the team friendly attentative and welcoming.
The food is amazing and they have a wide range of dishes - would suggest you just ask for a recommendation. You'll get a great meal and a little different.
Price is reasonable but it can be busy but then that's the downside of being one of the UK's top rated Indian restaurants I guess.
