Had to go to Matlock recently and always try to visit the charity shops there , the NHBC SHOP was full of wonderful things as usual . They had 2 lovely sofas both in excellent condition and very reasonably priced if I'd have needed one I definitely would have considered one whilst supporting an extremely good charity.

Shocking behaviour from a member of staff on Sunday !.I entered the shop at nearly 3.45pm .... i used to shop here a lot .!I wanted to look on the 99p rail..... only 99p.... so does that warrant that i am not a buying customer. A Person !!??:As soon as i entered. 1 another was browsing!!! The male assistant " kindly " told me they were closng in 5 ... fair enough..... his female assistant was bothered about the till. Flapping about!.^ At this stage i had 6 itms atcleast in my arms.... while he stood watching me ... sighing and grunting ....!!!!Then he said come on were closing ... at 3.48 pm. I did look at my watch . Hecwas that RUDE & OBNOXIOUS.... i was quite shocked . So i just left . No items of clothing ....!!!!! The Sunday before at about the same time . I spent £14 . The week previos £10 etc.I have enclosed a picture taken realtime . !!His whole attitude , demeanor was quite upsetting to be honest . I cannot get during the week sometimes , and i finish at 3pm.Anyways. The shop is usually friendly and some great things !RegretfullyA. Moncrieff
