So helpful as I needed my electric scooter. Helped into the cable car with a ramp and off the other end. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were absolutely amazing, a credit to the company. Well recommend this for visit even if needing a scooter.

In my opinion this venue is a case of over- promotion, with relatively little substance to show for it. The 'Seismic' light and sound show lasts a few minutes and is part of a rather tired 25 minute cave tour. There are no butterflies on the butterfly walk, unless you count a handful of wooden ones nailed to some trees.
The staff were helpful and friendly and £79 for a family of four (plus the necessary car parking fee) may be worth it for those that like a view but don't fancy the walk to earn it and clearly it's a successful business, as the endless queues within show, but for us it was overpriced and underwhelming.

Too expensive for the price. A short cable ride that no way justifies this pricing.

The attraction is very nice, staff are great , however the parking is an abomination. Spent 45 mins going round and round looking for a space and gave up, parked on road (by luck ) with only an hours time, if I hadn?t have pre booked my tickets I would have turned around and gone somewhere else.

Absolutely amazing day out with the kiddies today. And a massive shout out to Jordan who was our cave guide today he could tell my little boy was nervous as we waited in the que for the tour, he made a big effort with him asking him questions, playing rock paper scissors and we was first inline behind Jordan on the tour and he's was talking none stop to everyone making us all very aware and comfortable, during the tour it went pitch black as a video played on the caves my little boy started crying and Jordan came over with his little light to check everything was ok.
Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to Jordan he made my little boys visit?

EXCELLENT!
This is an interesting way to spend the day on your holiday!
Excellent, very well manned cable carts to take you to the hill/mountain?
At the top, you?re instantly met with more helpful staff full of information on where to go and what you can do.
There?s two caves, both equally interesting totally made by the excellent curation and delivery or stories by the guides (Jordan and Bessie were first class).
There?s two excellent play areas suitable for most ages (above toddler I think).
Fabulous cafe, where we had excellent service by Sue plus the views were spectacular! I was super impressed they had a variety of gluten free vegan cakes (that were not the usual boring brownies!).
They also had two bars ( one is the oldest licensed bar in Matlock).
There?s also a Wombles building, a couple of lovely gift shops, lots of information, a pizza van and more.
The views are incredible.
Overall, this is great value for money and something the children will not forget.

Fantastic experience on the cable cars and great information on the history of the area and cave tours. Our guides, William (the most exquisite!) and 'the other Steve' (I presume Steve 'A' may have fallen down one of the mine shafts) were incredibly helpful and helped with the immersion of our experience. Would highly recommend for a day long experience!

Wonderful day out, perfect for dogs also, they are allowed everywhere but caverns and the Vista restaurant. Food a little pricey but picnic tables are everywhere for a packed lunch. The cable car stops half way up for stunning view pictures.

A lovely friendly family place to visit.
Cave tours were short but fun and interactive. Cable cars got you a really good view and were nice and stable for those a little nervous!
The cafe was a little expensive but we sat on the balcony and had lovely food whilst we ate.
Its a really nice view from the top too.
For kids there's punch and Judy and a play parks or two.
As a group of adults, im not sure if it is 100% worth the ticket unless you are really interested in the caverns as a lot of the stuff available is aimed at children
