I chose a flooring for my kitchen costing £160 for an end of roll. All was smooth. Asked about fitting so was told I pay £55 on the day. Fair enough. I also had a door divider. I was asked to pay £220 in store. When I go to home the paperwork did not break down any charges. So from £160?for the roll and the sub total was £275. Not sure the door divider would cost that much? Ie £115. Unless I am having 2 but as no breakdown listed I?m not sure how it came to that much. I?d paid £220 in store o the day and am expecting to pay £55. Can I have bteakdown of the costs? Just so I can make sense how from a roll costing £160 I?m actually paying £220 (fitting obviously is extra ) total for it all £275? Service was great in store apart from the non transparency of costs.

My wife visited a the shop a few weeks ago to buy an offcut carpet for a bedroom, the assistant was very helpful and after choosing one it was delivered a few days later and the chap who brought it went that extra mile and took it upstairs into the room which was really kind. The carpet is now in place and looks great. Thank you United Carpets! ?

The shop is really good and the staff in there go that extra mile . I chose a new bed and being visually impaired this is difficult but the patience and helpfulness of the man who served me was really appreciated. The customer after service is good as well thanks very much I will use this shop again in future as I have done before over the years .

With so many things to deal with, moving house can be a stressful time. But the service from United Carpets Long Eaton has been amazing and made our lives a lot easier.Ryan in sales helped us find the perfect carpets for our new home and calmly guided us through the process. Then, Kirk came to fit them, and we were both impressed with his speed and professionalism.We're both now walking around our house with big smiles on our faces, so thanks, guys! In 40 years of buying floor coverings this has been the most horrendous experience, flooring was paid for in full six weeks ago, fitter arrived three weeks ago and the lino was faulty, a fitter arrived today and said we should have been told to move the fridge, washing machine etc, nobody told us this and the communication throughout has been diabolical, it is clear that this company uses contractors for cash and who are fearful of being sued which makes me question whether they have business insurance.I have spoken to the manager who said that ?you should have been told this and that? and appeared to be unable to justify a single thing, I have made clear that I want an email address to make a formal complaint to head office and the manager did everything he could not to provide the details required, I will wait to see if the email with contact details for head office arrives by Monday, do not use this company, the service can best be described as shambolic and the aftercare is non existent

Well what fantastic service..the guy who served us knew exactly what we wanted ..no fuss no over selling we were pretty much in and out within half an hour with a booked slot for fitting too . I'm so happy..it looks fantastic..the carpet fitter was lovely too ..friendly and professional

Received a quote in June, advised that I was going through insurance and would get back in touch. At no point was I advised that if I gave a deposit; it would secure the quote. This would have been a sensible thing for them to request. Anyway, I went to purchase the product today and asked what their best price was and they came back with a quote £500 more than the original and that apparently included a 20% discount. Their reason was that they had 3 price increases since June however looking back through my pictures; I have a screenshot of the price of the product in June and compared it to their website today and there's no change in price. I also heard the assistant call the fitter and quote exactly the same price as the emailed quote so this leaves only the cost of screeding which I doubt has increased by £500 + the 20% discount. Be careful with your quotes as they book appointments/time slots for fitting then increase the cost, quoting false price inflation. I estimate it as a 35% increase despite economic inflation only being 10%, #conartist #timewasters #falseadvertising #cheaperandbetterelsewhere

Recently purchased carpet for two rooms and fitting. Service was excellent throughout and fitting was suitably quick! Must praise UCB for their help when having to re-arrange at short notice as well! On overall really pleasant experience and I?m especially happy with the new carpets as well!
