I've previously been to the Screwfix stores in Derby. I popped into the Long Eaton branch on my way to work.
I can honestly say I had an outstanding experience served by Stephanie. From the moment I walked in Stephanie greeted me warmly and immediately took the time to understand exactly what I needed.
Her friendly attitude made the whole experience stress-free, and it was clear she genuinely cared about getting things right for the customer.
Thank you Stephanie your a credit to Screwfix Long Eaton.

Great little store, friendly staff and had what I needed, the external signage is very hidden by the massive tree, it could do with being on the other wall.

Entered the building at 5:59, a staff member was serving a gent. I heard let?s shut the door, to which I thought due to the weather the staff was cold, therefore to help I pushed the door. A staff member seen me and said ?we?re closed? I replied ?I know exactly what I want, it?s only one thing?His response ?No we?re closed?I explained ?I?m in the building, the door was open and I only need one item?His response ?We are closed?I explained ?if you are closed why am I in the building??The time he spent trying to get rid of me he could have took my money and given me what I wanted. What business turns away money?Screwfix you should set staff on who want to work, not just run out the business one the dot. I wouldn?t pay that bloke in brass washers.They also decided to put your shutters half way down before close to ensure they could run out! I?m sure some customers may have seen the shutters down and turned away??..Sort it out, if a customer is in the business you look after them, customers pay your bills.

The staff were like androids..no real knowledge of the details of the products.."The computer says no" type of people..could do with more staff of a more mature age who have a bit of life experience...too many kids...!!!
