I love Lidl. I can get most things I want very cheaply ... until I get to the 'aisles of unnecessary expenditure'. Then I buy things I didn't know I wanted.

This is such a nice place to shop. It can be busy on weekends (as anywhere), but is lovely on a weekday with ample room to walk and browse for items to buy. The prices are the best overall, and I do the majority of my grocery shopping here, even though I live closer to other supermarkets. The staff are great and it appears to be a happy workforce as I have seen the same employees for years. If checkouts get busy, there is always someone available to open a new till. I have even seen one employee, who should have closed for a break, stay on till as he told his manager over intercom, the customer comes first and he would wait until someone was available to take over, or the queue was gone. That is dedication and a credit to the training of staff. Well done Lidl. I wish more stores were like you!
